2009 Treasure Island Car Show
The first annual Treasure Island Car Show took place on Saturday June 20, 2009 in San Francisco from 12-6pm.
This event grew out of the previously well known Team Integra summer meet that took place every year.
The organizers behind the event, TICarShows.com, led by Frank Rodriguez and his team did an overall excellent job in ensuring that this year's show was bigger and better than all the years before.
The event featured TunerPlayground and its models as the co-hosts and main event sponsor. Vendors included Limitless Motorsports, NorCal Tuners, Barespeed, 12V Spotlight, Models for World, Parris Engine Dynamics, Monster Energy, Speed Star Racing, Redzone, Vision Performance, FW1, ImportWerkz, Modacar, District 10, and more.
There were plenty of great raffle items donated by the attending vendors, notable items included an HID kit, NRG Quick Release, lug nuts, spotlights, detailing kit, and tool set.
The event hosts brought out a catering service (Arnolds BBQ) and Rainbow Ice Cream, to make sure that everyone had plenty of great food to eat.
All in all it was a great event and we were pleased to be a part of it. Thanks to everyone who made it a great day, we enjoyed catching up with our industry friends. Special thanks to Keith Selle for coming all the way from Sac just to attend and support us. You rock!
