Tokyo Special Import-Car Show 2009
One of the largest automotive shows in Japan was held at the Tokyo Big Sight International Exhibition Center located on a man-made island name Odaiba. The event took place between June 19 through June 21, 2009.
The show is a trade event open for professionals and car enthusiasts offering a range of the latest vehicles, concept cars, vintage cars, and aftermarket parts manufacturers. Each day was also filled with new product release events, and provided a unique location for attendees to experience the industry for cars being imported into Japan.
The event featured more than 300 companies and vendors, including new enterprises entering the market along with several overseas exhibitors. There were over 60,000 people in attendance, all interested in seeing modified American low-riders, European performance cars, such as BMW and Volkswagen, and high end exotic supercars, like the Pagani Zonda and Ferrari Enzo.
We would like to thank the Tokyo Special Import-Car Show Executive Committee, the Nippon Auto Parts Aftermarket Committee (NAPAC), and the Japan External Trade Organization (JETRO) for putting together a spectacular event.
