TunerGOGO Sister Squad: Ice Models
Taiwan was so exciting! The people, the food, the crazy traffic! I swear, I thought I was going to get hit by a scooter before the end of my trip. It felt like the entire country was overflowing with scooters everywhere! Justyna and I decided to name them The Scooter Gang, LOL.
We're pretty sure that none of the drivers came even close to abiding by the traffic laws. It felt like we were dodging cars, scooters, trucks, dogs, and people the entire time. Well I suppose it does make life a little more interesting on a day-to-day basis. Hehe.
Just a word of caution, if you are ever in Taiwan and crossing the street, be sure to not only look to your left and right, but check ahead of and behind you too!
Did I already mention the food? Well I need to talk about it again because it was amazing! Our host took us to the popular "night market" which was overflowing with local food, clothes, nifty little toys and a whole bunch of random stuff that you normally would never find in North America. As we were slowly walking past the mini booths, our host urged us to try some of the street food. And try we did! Everything was great, except for the chicken butt balls that I was tricked into eating! Hmph!
Before we set off for Taipei, the manager of KOO Party Entertainment had told me that ICE Models would be performing at Spark Nightclub "by exclusive invitation only." Boy did he mean it. Our first night at the club was crazy! The place was FILLED with Taiwanese celebrities, Models, Designers, Fashionistas, and of course, high rollers. Because it was the club owner's exclusive birthday celebration, the party was one of a kind, featuring performances from Europe's famous DJ's Starz Angels who flew in from Paris, and the very sexy ICE Models--Ess and Justyna--all the way from Vancouver, CANADA! (Represent! LOL).
The Music was awesome, the crowd was hot and the drinks kept flowing! Even though we were hired to work, it didn't hurt to sample a glass of Moet Champagne. Okay, make that 4 glasses...each. However, in my professional defense, we only started drinking after our shift was over. Hehe.
It was definitely a memorable trip for ICE Models and I'd like to thank KOO Party Entertainment and Spark Nightclub (www.Spark101.com.tw) for giving us the opportunity to perform at the hottest new nightclub in Taipei!
