BLOX Racing Open House
The first annual BLOX Racing Open House event kicked off on Sunday July 11th from 11am-4pm at the BLOX Racing headquarters in Fremont, CA.
The event promised to feature an exciting car show, model search, model lounge, garage sale, raffle, vendor midway, food court, ruckus showcase, and more. After attending the event less than twenty four hours ago, we would have to agree that BLOX did not disappoint. Albrae street quickly filled early in the morning as over two hundred cars gathered to park together in the lot, with even more cars parking on the surrounding streets.
Dozens of reputable vendors and industry sponsors from all over the state showed up to support the event, including JHPUSA, Weapon R, 1320 Performance, Blacktrax Performance, Weksos Industries, Speed Element, Vex Motorsports, DNR Performance, N1 Concepts, Wheeldude.com, S3, Krizn, BOTI, Detail Addict, NOS Energy Drink, DPE Wheels, Limitless Motorsports, and more.
The event was anything but boring as attendees were treated to heart-thumping entertainment all day long via the NOS Energy Drink Main Stage and the NOS & TunerPlayground "VIP" Lounge area. DJ's DRO and Ray Area held it down throughout the afternoon keeping the models as well as enthusiasts on their feet.
The raffle prizes (various BLOX Racing products + items generously donated by all of the attending vendors) and trophies given out were fantastic, including a newly coined award "The HELLA BLOX" trophy (a car that featured the most BLOX Racing products). DPE gave away a voucher for HALF OFF on a set of wheels and NOS Energy Drink even gave away a toolbox with tools valued at over $500!
We were pleased to see local food vendors in attendance, including our friends at the Mogo Korean BBQ Truck, Kara's Cupcakes, CaliDog, Quickly's, Kaenyama, and more. They helped to make it a great day by feeding the hungry masses while NOS Energy Drink made sure that everyone in attendance had an ice cold NOS beverage in hand.
On behalf of all of us at TunerPlayground we'd like to thank everyone for attending and making it a great day. Like everyone else, we look forward to next year's open house event!
