TP: How does it feel to become one of the biggest international icons in the import industry?
KY: I don't know? I don't think of myself that way, but I had a really great time working on many amazing projects throughout the years!
TP: Has MTV Chi changed your outlook on the way you see modern music?
KY: I definitely see many more asian Americans trying to succeed in the music industry and it's only a matter of time before someone becomes the first to succeed in the USA!
TP: What are your plans in the future? We heard things about your clothing line or new CD?
KY: Just released my new jewelry line: Hello Drama Jewelry. It's making a lot of noise in the rock world and we're really excited about it! I am currently recording new songs with my band Nylon Pink, our single "Hello Drama" was just featured on the season premiere of The Hills so that was super awesome!
TP: What made you decide to leave the import scene to try new things?
KY: I always had plans to do other things, just happened to fall into the import scene along the way and get sidetracked since I had so much fun in the import scene.
TP: Tokyo Drift, what was your experience like to be a part of such a big project?
KY: Tokyo Drift was one of the best experiences ever, they had such a huge production, and amazing hair, makeup and styling and the set literally looked like Japan, there was just such a good energy on that project and I loved the final product. It definitely made drifting look exciting!
TP: How has it affected your life after the huge exposure you received from movies and concerts?
KY: Its been amazing, last year I was featured in The Rolling Stone magazine, which was something I never expected, it just came out of the blue, just lots of cool features!
TP: Many people have said your performance at MTV CHI: San Gabriel a year ago was a great success. With that being said, your performance with Sugar Coated Candy Sex seemed to have more of a theatrical sense. Are you looking towards a new direction of music?
KY: I had an amazing time at MTV Chi but recently I decided to go more in the rock music direction with my new music. I grew up listening to rock, bands like Guns N Roses and Motley Crue and Nirvana, and its just where my heart is.
TP: We seem to be seeing you all over the place, from import model to singer to movie star, and now we hear you have your own TV show. What's the secret?
KY: Just follow your dreams and have no fear! I have failed at a lot of the things that I have tried but had success at others.
TP: How are your fans adjusting to all these changes you are making in your career? Are they being supportive?
KY: Many of my fans are definitely being supportive and lately the new projects have allowed us to branch out and reach new audiences that I never expected. Its so cool to see old fans and new fans out there.
TP: Do you think you will be returning to the import scene anytime soon? We'd love to have one of the original girls make a comeback.
KY: Yes I just went to HIN Los Angeles and will probably be attending other car shows with my partner and bandmate/bass player, Kit.E.Katt throughout the year!
TP: Ok, its time to get a little more personal and what people are waiting for. Is there currently anyone special in your life? [Boyfriend, crush, etc...]
KY: I do have a big crush at the moment I'll let you know how it goes!
TP: When is the last time you got a little naughty in the bedroom?
KY: I'm holding out at the moment for my big crush!
TP: Do you wear matching underwear? Which would you say are your favorite?
KY: Depends on whether the clothes are coming off! I am a huge fan of color, especially pink, and garters and stiletto heels. Black however always makes any girl look sexy. I have a special black lace lingerie set that always makes me feel sexy.
TP: What do drive right now? What would you say your dream car is?
KY: Lexus RX300, I'm an SUV girl. I love the skyline but I wouldn't feel safe driving such an expensive car around, I'm a bad driver!!!
TP: Tell us one weakness you have when it comes to food. What will win your heart over?
KY: Any guy who can cook, definitely has a great shot at winning me over!! I also love to cook for a guy. I love a good rare juicy steak, just talking about it makes me hungry!

KY: Charisma. Any guy who has charm easily wins my heart.
TP: Who are your best girlfriends in the modeling industry?
KY: Kit.E.Katt and Aiko Tanaka.
TP: Are they single? =D Just kidding. Are you doing anything with them anytime soon? Collaborating together on any projects that we should know about?
KY: I'm working with Kit.E.Katt on everything! Music, jewelry line and TV shows.
TP: What has your relationship with TunerPlayground been like, and how did you hear about us?
KY: I have been friends with you guys forever and hope that the friendship continues for a long time!
