We'd like to start off by apologizing for the delay in getting this feature up. With all of the planning and work that we've been putting into the SEMA show these past few days, this simply fell on the back burner. However, many of you know that we love to reward our readers for being patient, and so this month we're excited to introduce a gorgeous blonde bombshell. Meet Corinne Doherty, our newest exclusively-signed and managed model who happens to be right here in Las Vegas with us this week. If you're fortunate enough to be out here too, then you'll most likely see her working at our client Hankook Tire USA's booth during the SEMA show. But if you're stuck at home, wherever you are, then you'll have to settle for over sixty of the sexiest never-before-seen photos of Corinne to ever be released. TunerPlayground, only the best.
TP: So we have to ask, how did you get into modeling? Were you discovered?
CD: When I was 15, I had wanted to model but felt very shy and unconfident, so I never pursued it. My mother knew I had potential so she took me to this scouting convention in Oakland and I received 16 call backs after my runway walk and picture presentation. One of the major agency scouts thought it would be best to fly me to Milan when I was 16, so the plan was to wait one year. Well, at 16 I fell in love and my boyfriend was not going to be okay with my modeling, so I chose love over my dream. Our relationship lasted about four and a half years then I moved into another two-year relationship that was also not supportive of my modeling goals. Later on, after breaking up with him at the age of 23, I ran into a childhood friend that was modeling at the time. She told me to join her and some friends for a photo shoot and that they would help me get started. She found a photographer and we all worked together to make it happen. Before we knew it the lights started flashing and it all started from there.
TP: Awesome. We love the idea that you're finally pursuing your dream. So how do you feel about signing exclusively with us? What were some of the important factors that led to your decision?
CD: The nice thing about TunerPlayground is that you guys have a very strong family feel, and a great fan following. I think that everyone works well together as a team and the photographers, clients, and other models really look after one another while attending events and making them as fun as possible. Being with you guys means that I also get to become friends with everyone we work with, so that way no one really feels like a stranger.
TP: We're glad to hear that. Do you consider yourself beautiful? What do you think is your greatest asset? What makes you unique?
CD: I don't think I'd be pursuing modeling as a career if I didn't consider myself beautiful. I believe confidence is the key, and knowing how to highlight your best features is also important. What makes me unique is my ability to communicate in my second language with the largest second language spoken in America, Spanish. I think that having that ability to also reach out in that demographic group makes me a valuable team player for any company. I also think my greatest asset are my eyes. ^_^
TP: What was the first major event that you modeled at? What made it most memorable to you?
CD: My first major event was the Sturgis Bike Rally. I worked as a Miss Renegade spokesmodel. It was amazing because the event drew in over 100,000 people to South Dakota and I was on all of the postcards. I also was invited to sign my name on one of the locally built award-winning bikes. It was so much fun, I still keep in touch with those guys today.
TP: Wow. That's really cool. So tell us, who is your favorite model or celebrity of all time?
CD: My favorite model of all time would have to be Marisa Miller. The reason I like her the most is because I can tell by her body that she woks out extremely hard and doesn't just starve herself like most models. Marisa also had a late start in modeling and she was able to succeed even though her career began later on. I think it would be a fantasy come true to simply meet her someday.
TP: Have you ever used your looks to take advantage of someone? Be honest.
CD: We all know the minute a good looking girl walks into a bar she is going to take advantage of someone she wants a free drink from. Well I think that I've done that far too many times! I definitely have used my looks to my advantage when it came to clothes, food, partying, and trips. However now that I've grown up more, I understand that it's not worth it. It was fun while it lasted but I know better now.
TP: Tell us, what are your hobbies? Any hidden talents you'd like to share with the world?
CD: I love to bake! Especially by using vegetables from my own garden. Winter happens to be my favorite time to bake because I love baking zucchini bread. My hidden talent is my joy and love for baking. If I could open a restaurant, I'm sure I would please a lot of people.
TP: What is your astrological sign? Do you believe in horoscopes?
CD: I'm an Aries. However, I'm not a strong follower of horoscopes, it all seems to be coincidental in my book.
TP: Do you have any weird habits that no one else knows about?
CD: Weird habits...hmm. LOL. My mom thinks it's weird that I drink apple cider vinegar in the morning straight from the bottle. ^_^
TP: Haha. Interesting. So what does a typical day look like for you? Where do you like to go for some time alone?
CD: I usually work at my dental office from 8am to 5pm. Then I head home, make dinner, and get ready for the gym. My alone time is often the two hours that I spend at the gym with my iPod while doing cardio and afterwards when I'm sitting in the sauna.
TP: So what's your favorite food? Drink? Place to eat?
CD: I live downtown so I usually cruise on over to Flavors restaurant on the Square for some yummy gourmet fish and veggies with a glass of wine. Then I'll head to my friend's ultra lounge, Christy's, for some quality mixed drinks. Everything is conveniently located from my house! ^_^
TP: Since we are an automotive interest website and most of our readers are motor-heads, we have to ask, what do you drive right now? What would you say your dream car is?
CD: I currently drive a 2002 BMW 330CI stick shift. I wouldn't have it any other way. ^_^ With all of my hard work I hope to get an M5 someday. I love how BMW's handle turns. You can zip from place to place faster than most people, all while looking better too!
TP: Have you ever thought about getting into racing?
CD: Hell yeah! I would love to learn.
TP: Does size matter for you? You know we're talking about car engines of course. Haha.
CD: Of course! The bigger the better. I want to push it baby! ^_^
TP: If we looked through your cell phone, what kinds of juicy things would we find on there?
CD: HAHA. I'm sure you can imagine... ^_^
TP: What item of clothing or accessory makes you feel the sexiest?
CD: I always feel sexy in leggings and stilettos. Never fails because I have long ass legs, so why not accentuate them right? Hehe. ^_^
TP: Word. So what has surprised you the most about modeling? What has your most memorable modeling moment been so far? Most embarrassing?
CD: I think the most surprising thing was the amount of partying that I got involved in at the beginning of my career. Getting paid to show up to a club with a bunch of friends and having our bottles comped was really cool, but definitely not what I expected. I think the most memorable moment in modeling was when I entered in the MAXIM Hometown Hotties Contest and I had to campaign for all these people to vote for me. It really showed me that dedication and hard work pays off because I made it into the Top 10 out of thousands of girls from all across the country. I was pretty proud of myself.
TP: Right on. Definitely an accomplishment to be proud of. So what do you look for in a guy? What would he have to do to get your attention and to keep you interested?
CD: He has to be at least six feet tall and toned. If he has style and is able to compose himself well then it's even better. I can't resist a guy that has all of those above. ^_^
TP: How do you feel about pick-up lines? What was the best line that was used on you? Did it work?
CD: Pick-up lines are so cheesy! I honestly think that a man should have confidence to come up to me and just be himself.
TP: What gets you in the mood? What are some of your turn-ons?
CD: The guy just has to be hot. If he's eye candy, and gives me that one "look" then it's ON! ^_^
TP: Wow. We need to practice our "look." Hahaha. Okay, so on a scale from 1 to 10, how wild are you in the bedroom?
CD: Hahaha. Yes! ^_^ Hmm. It definitely depends on my energy level that day, but if I'm not tired then I'm a total 10!
TP: What do you wear to bed?
CD: Nothing except for my blankie.
TP: Goodness. So what's your favorite position in the bedroom?
CD: I like to be on top. ^_^
TP: What is something no one else knows about you that you are willing to let us in on first? And your answer above doesn't count. It has to be something else!
CD: Most people don't know this. But I LOVE being commando. Nothing feels better than getting some fresh air. HAHAHA. ^_^
TP: WOW. Haha. So were you popular in high school? If so, why do you think that was?
CD: I went to a fairly small school. So everyone knew each other. I did hang out with hottest girls and party animals though.
TP: If you could have one superpower, what would it be and why?
CD: I wish I could fly because I feel like I'm always having to go somewhere far away for work. Being that I sort of live in the countryside it'd be really convenient to be able to fly myself around and never be late!
TP: Do your friends have any funny nicknames for you? If so, tell us about them and the stories behind each name.
CD: A lot of my friends call me "Rinni." I'm not really sure where this came from. I think it probably started after one of our crazy nights in LA at the Playboy Mansion or after a three day rager in Las Vegas where my friends were so tired afterwards that they decided to cut my name in half so it'd be easier to say. LOL!
TP: Haha. Interesting. Do you use Twitter? Facebook? Myspace? What do you think about social networking sites and how they have affected models these days?
CD: Yes I have all three! I think social networking sites are totally awesome because they make it really easy to reach out to friends, family, and fans. I like that I can be creative about sharing my life and my schedule with everyone through these sites.
TP: So what are five things you never leave the house without?
CD: Lip gloss. Eye lash curler. Debit card. Car keys. And cell phone. What can I say? I'm always on the go and I like to look good while doing it. ^_^
TP: Haha. No arguments here. So do you like to travel? Where have you been that you absolutely loved? Where would you like to go someday?
CD: I absolutely love to travel, especially if it's not coming out of my own pocket. LOL! I loved Paris the most because the food there is amazing and it was fun to not know what people were saying all the time. I would love to go to the island of Capri sometime next year.
TP: Sounds good! So where can your fans find you online?
TP: Where can your fans expect to find you with TunerPlayground next?
CD: Well I'm currently having a blast with you guys at SEMA in Las Vegas this week. As for later this year or in 2011, I would recommend checking my social networking pages for details! ^_^
TP: Hehe. Alright. I think it's time that we wrap up. Any last words?
CD: Thank you guys for featuring me! I'll be relocating to the Los Angeles area in June 2011, so look for me out there. I'm hoping to be doing more TV, Commercial, and Movie related work. To all my fans out there, be sure to add me online in order to stay updated on my latest and greatest news! Much love and hope to hear from all of you soon!
