Normally, we debut our new model features at midnight on the first of each month. However our newest exclusively signed & managed model is so awesome, we simply couldn't wait to show her off. Meet Lindsey Li, half Korean, half banker, and full of winning. So instead of reading any more of our incessant rambling, feel free to now dive head first into her in-depth interview along with over forty exclusive never-before-seen photos. We don't mind.
TP: So we have to ask, how did you get into modeling? Were you discovered?
LL: Well, when I was a little girl, I always dreamed of becoming a super model. I remember looking through my mother's Vogue magazines and just wishing I could be on the cover. Once I got older and I finally got the courage to be in front of a camera, I decided to find that perfect photographer to work with. I wasn't discovered, but I did work with the famous Keith Selle on my very first photo shoot.
TP: That's great. So how do you feel about signing exclusively with us? What were some of the important factors that led to your decision?
LL: I'm super excited! I can't wait to begin doing amazing things with you guys.
TP: Do you consider yourself beautiful? What do you think is your greatest asset? What makes you unique?
LL: Yes, I do consider myself beautiful, but every woman is beautiful in her own way. My greatest asset would have to be my personality. Everyone I have ever met always tells me how funny and cool I am. What makes me unique...hmm I tend to ask a lot of question when I meet someone for the first time. When I meet new people I want to know about the entire life story. I love listening to people.
TP: Who is your favorite model or celebrity of all time?
LL: My all-time favorite model is Naomi Campbell. I love her confidence and attitude. She photographs very well. Our fantasy photo shoot would be, us in an old looking room, filled with candles, naked, while covering each other's delicate areas. ^_^
TP: Good lord. We need to make that happen. Haha. So have you ever used your looks to take advantage of someone? Was it one of our staff? You can tell us. Haha.
LL: OMG... My first job out of high school was as a cocktail waitress at a lounge in Riverside called The Ville. My boss was so in love with me and would not leave me alone. He would ask me out on a date every time I worked. So, I just decided to see what I can get away with. He paid my phone bill for months, my credit card bill, gave me some cash when needed, and bought me expensive gifts. Finally, I just felt bad, and decided to quit my job. Just so you know...there was no intercourse involved at all...he was gross!
TP: Wow. That's crazy. So tell us, what are your hobbies? Any hidden talents you'd like to share with the world?
LL: My hobbies are training and working out at the gym. I'm a huge gymaholic. One amazing hidden talent I have is swallowing a long spaghetti noodle and pulling it back up out of my mouth. It's really cool!
TP: Haha. We're tempted to make jokes now... What is your astrological sign? Do you believe in horoscopes?
LL: Shut up! Hehe. I'm a Libra and I do believe in horoscopes. I've literally had some come true.
TP: Do you have any weird habits that no one else knows about?
LL: LS: Yes. I pick my nose and eat my boogers. Haha. Just playing, I really don't have any weird habits. Everyone I know knows everything about me.
TP: What does a typical day look like for you? Where do you like to go for some time alone?
LL: Work from 8:00am-5:00pm, then off to school, and then home to relax for a few minutes and then it's off to the gym. For time alone...it would be my bedroom. It's so big and pretty. ^_^
TP: Favorite place to eat? Drink? Play?
LL: My favorite place to eat would be Katsuya in Hollywood. They have the best sushi ever. My favorite drink is called The Dragon Martini. Just one of those gets me wasted. I love playing at the hottest clubs in Los Angeles...I like to shake my booty!
TP: Haha. Right on. Well you do have a nice tush. ^_^ So what kind of car do you drive? Is it a stickshift?
LL: Aww thanks! Hell yes I can drive a stick. My current car is a 2010 Mazda RX-8 6 speed...it's my baby.
TP: Does does size matter for you? You know we're talking about car engines of course. Haha.
LL: Of course...I like my engines big and powerful. Not a fan of those small, lazy, quickie engines. ^_^
TP: Haha. Right on. So if we looked through your cell phone, what kinds of juicy things would we find on there?
LL: Ehhh...a lot of pictures of me. Some naked, some clothed, and some being goofy.
TP: What item of clothing or accessory makes you feel the sexiest?
LL: It would have to be my baby doll Victoria Secret PJ's. It's so hot and little. It just hugs every curve on my body.
TP: Nice. So what has surprised you the most about modeling? What has your most memorable modeling moment been so far?
LL: Modeling has taken me by surprise a few times. You can't trust everyone. My most memorable modeling moment would have to be shooting for my first magazine appearance with Super Street. It was in an auto body shop and all the guy workers were there. They all thought I was famous and kept asking me for my autograph.
TP: What do you look for in a guy? What would he have to do to get your attention and to keep you interested?
LL: Personality, education, family values, good health, and no drugs. To get my attention you just have to play it cool. I'm a down to earth kind of girl; it's not hard to entertain me. Just be yourself!
TP: How do you feel about pick-up lines? What was the best line that was used on you? Did it work?
LL: I LOVE pick-up lines...they're so funny, how could you not. The best line I ever heard was "I know it's not Christmas, but Santa's lap is always ready." It didn't work, but it did make me laugh. ^_^
TP: Haha. So what is the weirdest thing that has ever happened to you on a date? How did the rest of the night go?
LL: I went on my first date with this one guy...and he got super wasted so I ended up driving his car home. I was completely over him. The next day I just called to check up on him. He apologized and said he didn't mean to get that drunk and he just wanted to get buzzed because he was nervous.
TP: What gets you in the mood? What are some of your turn-ons?
LL: The scent of a man's cologne drives me crazy...and it even drives me crazier when I know the guy I'm dating wants me so bad. My turn-ons have to be personality and education. Someone who puts a smile on my face is a winner in my eyes. I like someone who is book smart too. Education is very important to me. If, I'm in the process of finishing school, you should be doing the same.
TP: That's admirable. So on a scale from 1 to 10, how wild are you in the bedroom?
LL: I would be a big 10 for sure. I'm a wild child.
TP: What's your favorite position in the bedroom?
LL: My favorite position is me on top. I'm a real aggressive woman that likes to be in control. ^_^
TP: What is something no one else knows about you that you are willing to let us in on first? And your answer above doesn't count. It has to be something else!
LL: Well, my first boyfriend was right after high school. We dated for five years. One night, I caught him cheating with this BIG girl. So my friend and I found his car in the parking lot and we peed on top of his car. We even went pee in a plastic cup and poured it all over his door handles. It was funny at the time...hahaha.
TP: Wow. That might be one of the weirdest answers we've heard yet. So were you popular in high school? If so, why do you think that was?
LL: Yes, I was popular. I was the cute little cheerleader. I really think it was my personality that made me popular. Once someone gets to know me they realize what a loving person I am.
TP: If you could have one superpower, what would it be and why?
LL: I would like to be able to read people's minds. I want to know what people really think.
TP: So do you use Twitter? Facebook? Myspace? What do you think about social networking sites and how they have affected models these days?
LL: I'm definitely on Facebook a lot. Anyone can reach me there. I really think sites such as Model Mayhem, MySpace, and Facebook have helped to benefit models. It gives us a chance to show our fans our work and get more gigs.
TP: So what are five things you never leave the house without?
LL: My cell phone. Vitamins. Marc Jacobs bag. Chapstick. Tic Tacs.
TP: Do you like to travel? Where have you been that you absolutely loved? Where would you like to go someday?
LL: My family was never huge on traveling...so I've never been out of the United States. But one place I dream about going to would be Africa.
TP: That's cool. So tell us, where can your fans find you online?
LL: Search for me on Model Mayhem and Facebook!
TP: Where can your fans expect to find you with TunerPlayground next?
LL: I'll be with you guys everywhere! Stay tuned for details!
TP: Sounds great. It's time that we wrap up. Any last words?
LL: I'd like to tell all of my best friends that I love you guys so much for supporting me...and to my few ex-boyfriends: go to hell! I love everyone and I hope you guys enjoyed this interview as much as I did. Peace, love and happiness. Love you all...thanks! ^_^
