TP: Hi Mylynda. So first thing's first. Tell us how to properly pronounce your name because we want everyone to know so they can properly say hello to you in person this year.
MD: Haha. Sure thing! It's Mylynda Deveaux, pronounced "My-Lin-Da Dee-Voe" ...does that make sense?
TP: Yup! We got it. And so does everyone else now. So tell us, how did you get into this industry? Were you discovered?
MD: Actually it's a funny story. Haha. When I was young my sisters would always dress me up and take photos of me but I never thought anything of it. Then when I was seventeen I went to watch a friend do a photoshoot for a Ferrari calendar (it was for charity). While I was watching in the background I got noticed by some of the people involved, so that was how I got pulled into my first professional shoot and they ended up putting me in the calendar too. After that I just fell in love with modeling and began my hard work of practicing and shooting to get my face out there. I also began networking via the internet.
TP: Hehe. Well lucky us then. So, how do you feel about signing exclusively with us? What were some of the important factors that led to your decision?
MD: I'm overly excited to be signing with you guys. I know it's a wonderful opportunity. An important factor is definitely all of the exposure that you guys offer, and just to be a part of all of your wonderful events! I can't wait! ^_^
TP: Aww, well thank you. Tell us, do you consider yourself beautiful? What do you think is your greatest asset? What makes you unique?
MD: I think everyone is beautiful in their own way, but we all have our flaws. I know I am my own worst critic, lot's of females are that way. People say that my greatest asset are my eyes. What makes me unique is probably my personality, I am very laid back. I could hang with the guys and play video games all day. I am a very calm and loving person.
TP: Right on. So who is your favorite model or celebrity of all time?
MD: Probably Victoria's Secret model Miranda Kerr, she is so gorgeous. I definitely idolize her. A fantasy shoot with her would have to be an all day thing, involving lots of whipped cream and maybe some pillow fights! ^_^
TP: WOW. We need to make that happen. Haha. Tell us, have you ever used your looks to take advantage of someone?
MD: No never! I would never take advantage of anyone.
TP: What are some of your hobbies? Any hidden talents you'd like to share with the world?
MD: Well I grew up swimming, playing soccer, and horseback riding. But my main focus now is modeling. ^_^ A hidden talent is that I know how to play the cello, and I would love to get back into that some day.
TP: Very cool. We love string instruments. So what is your astrological sign? Do you believe in horoscopes?
MD: I am a Taurus, I stick to my solid ground and can be very hard headed sometimes. I am definitely a skeptic when it comes to a lot of things, but my sign is usually right on point with me.
TP: Do you have any weird habits that no one else knows about?
MD: Not really no, but at times I can get overly obsessive with cleaning. Especially when I was in high school I'd go home and clean every day without being asked.
TP: That's awesome. Can you come clean our office? Haha. Tell us, what does a typical day for you look like?
MD: Of course! I'd be happy to. ^_^ Hmm. A typical day would consist of waking up, taking care of my pets and going to work. For alone time I'll usually go in my hookah room where my hookahs are, sometimes take a smoke, and play with my three snakes that I love just as much as my Chihuahuas.
TP: Wow. You have some cool pets. Favorite food?
MD: Anything Italian! I love pasta... ^_^
TP: Can you handle a stick? Have you ever thought about getting into racing?
MD: I know how to, but I suck at it! My mom has a Mini Cooper S, so I try to drive it but I always seem to stall. No patience. Hehe. That'd be so awesome to get into racing, but I probably don't have the balls to go that fast! Literally! ^_^
TP: Haha. We have to ask, does size matter for you? You know we're talking about car engines of course.
MD: Yes! The bigger the better right?
TP: If we looked through your cell phone, what kinds of juicy things would we find on there?
MD: Definitely lot's of hot and juicy photos. ^_^
TP: Tell us, what item of clothing or accessory makes you feel the sexiest?
MD: A nice low cut shirt and a pair of heels. Always makes a woman feel sexy.
TP: What has surprised you the most about modeling? Any embarrassing moments?
MD: How hard it is to really get as far as you want to. It takes a lot of time and dedication. No one can just hop in and be a pro, same with anything else. All of my shoots are memorable and special to me. The most embarrassing moments are probably just the times when your nipple pops out when you don't want it to. Haha. OOPS! ^_^
TP: You mean like right now? *looks down* Haha. So what do you look for in a guy? What would he have to do to get your attention and to keep you interested?
MD: *looks down* HEY! Haha. I look for a guy with an amazing personality. He must be calm, cool, loving and know how to make me laugh. That'll all catch my attention, to keep me interested...we must have lots of fun together.
TP: Right on. How do you feel about pick-up lines? What was the best line that was used on you? Did it work?
MD: Any kind of pick-up line is way to grade school and cheesy to me. A man just needs to be himself, never try too hard. A woman knows what she likes. No lines have worked on me, and I'm usually always the first to spit game. Hehe. ^_^
TP: What is the worst thing that has ever happened to you on a date? How did the rest of the night go?
MD: Nothing weird has happened yet. Let's hope it stays that way!
TP: Haha. What gets you in the mood? What are some of your turn-ons?
MD: Some nice dim lighting, some good candles. Just wrap me up in your arms and give me sweet kisses and I'm yours. Some turn-ons are dark hair, soft eyes, a deep voice. Usually makes for a sexy man. ^_^
TP: What do you wear to bed?
MD: Usually boy shorts and a t-shirt. Or just underwear.
TP: On a scale from 1 to 10, how wild are you in the bedroom?
MD: Well I've never gotten complaints and I usually have some very fun ideas. So maybe a 9 or 10? ^_^
TP: Favorite position?
MD: Me on top. ^_^ I like to be in control. Hehe.
TP: What is something no one else knows about you that you are willing to let us in on first? And your answer above doesn't count. It has to be something else!
MD: Whenever I'm alone I sing all the time! Yeah, I don't think anyone knows I'm that much of a geek.
TP: Aww. We think that's cute. Were you popular in high school? If so, why do you think that was?
MD: I mostly kept to myself, but people talked about me often anyways. You know what they say, haters make you famous!
TP: If you could have one superpower, what would it be and why?
MD: To read peoples minds, I'd like to know what a lot of people are thinking about. All of the stuff that they are too scared to say.
TP: Facebook? Twitter? Model Mayhem? What do you think about social networking sites and how they have affected models these days?
MD: Yes I use all three, I think Facebook is very good to have, it's what's got my name out there the most. Twitter is fun and addicting. I've definitely had my doubts about some scams on Model Mayhem though. It's okay to put yourself out on the internet because you need to promote yourself, but at the same time you also need to be cautious. Some models build a good name, some build a bad name. It's all about how you carry yourself and how you make yourself look to the millions of people that can see what you're putting out there. Girls just need to know that once you put your stuff online, oftentimes you can never take it back. I think it's important to be careful.
TP: Agreed! What are five things you never leave the house without?
MD: Cell phone. Make up. My ID. My glasses. And my knife. You can never be too sure, right? ^_^
TP: Wow. You're such a badass. Haha. Where can your fans find you online?
MD: Haha. You know it! ^_^ They can find me on Facebook! And Twitter: @MyLyndaD Oh, and the best website ever, RIGHT HERE! ^_^
TP: Do you like to travel? Where have you been that you absolutely loved? Where would you like to go some day?
MD: I'm actually a really big home body. I've been to Chicago and parts of Arizona when I was younger, as well as different parts of California. I would like to travel Europe some day...through France, Italy, Germany, and Ireland. That'd be amazing!
TP: Where can your fans expect to find you in 2012? How about with us?
MD: Not sure yet, but hopefully all over the place! ^_^
TP: Sounds good. It's time that we wrap up. Any last words?
MD: First I want to give a huge thank you to my favorite photographer of all time, Keith Selle. He has definitely made my modeling worthwhile and truly has helped me along the way. I am so thankful. I also want to thank you guys for this amazing opportunity. I want to thank the people in my family who have mainly been there for me, my mom Lynda, and my two sisters, Brianna and Terra. I want to thank my friends who have supported my modeling, it truly means a lot. I want to thank anyone who looks up to me as well. Much love to my fans! Thank you for all of the love and support. You make me push myself towards where I want to be, and my journey has only just begun! Keep the love coming everyone! <3
