We apologize for our fans who checked at midnight and didn't see this up yet. We were in SoCal for the weekend and got back really late. But hey, we firmly believe that the best things in life are worth waiting for. With that being said, meet Nicole Marie Reckers, a signed & exclusively-managed TunerPlayground model who more than makes up for our tardiness. She's bright, ambitious, and stunning to look at. As one of four 2011 Hankook Tire brand ambassadors she's already well on her way towards having an incredible modeling career. So without further delay, please enjoy our in-depth and personal interview with Nicole along with over forty exclusive never-before-seen photos.
TP: So we have to ask, how did you get into modeling? Were you discovered?
NR: Honestly, I grew up around the car scene my whole life. I started off by going to shows with friends and from then on I always wanted to become a model. My friend is the one who helped me get started in this industry.
TP: That's great. Tell us, how do you feel about signing exclusively with us? What were some of the important factors that led to your decision?
NR: I've always heard great things about TunerPlayground and its beautiful models. The opportunity to become one of the 2011 Hankook Tire Spokesmodels is what brought me to TunerPlayground originally. So far it's been awesome!
TP: Aww. Thank you. So do you consider yourself beautiful? What do you think is your greatest asset? What makes you unique?
NR: YES, I do consider myself beautiful. I believe that confidence brings out more inner beauty. My greatest asset would have to be my eyes or my smile. Everyone says I have a way of getting them to smile. Hehehe. I am unique in many ways. Hmmmm...I can hold a conversation about cars with guys, and I come off as shy, but once you get to know me, I am full of energy.
TP: We certainly agree. We love your smile. So what was the first major event that you modeled at? What made it most memorable to you?
NR: My first ever event was REMIX in Las Vegas with A.C. Elite. It was my first out of state event being a new model. My first MAJOR event would have been Spocom or SEMA last year. I felt very lucky to be at both events considering I was so new to it all.
TP: Very cool. So who is your favorite model or celebrity of all time?
NR: Favorite model would have to be Alicia Whitten. I think out of most models, Alicia is really down to earth and easy to talk with. She's friendly and has a wild side to her. Not only does she manage modeling, but she is also a full time Mom at home. Hmmm...my fantasy photo shoot with her would have to be in a tropical oasis under a waterfall, dripping wet, and...well, you can use your imagination. ^_^
TP: We certainly can. Tell us, have you ever used your looks to take advantage of someone? Was it one of our staff? You can tell us. Haha.
NR: Hahaha. Mayyyybeee...just kidding! No, I don't take advantage of anyone. It's not right, unless...they ask me to. ^_^
TP: Haha. So what are your hobbies? Any hidden talents you'd like to share with the world?
NR: I have lot's of hobbies, like going to CUE, cooking, baking, working on cars and oh, I LOVE the beach.
TP: What is your astrological sign? Do you believe in horoscopes?
NR: SAGITTARIUS baby! Yes I do, lately my horoscopes have been on point, it's interesting.
TP: Do you have any weird habits that no one else knows about?
NR: Hmm. I don't think that I have any! At least none that even I know about. Haha. ^_^
TP: Haha. So what is your favorite place to eat? Drink? Play?
NR: I love Japanese food, especially Osakan cuisine, sushi and the "screaming orgasm salad." I also enjoy boba, it is the key to my heart. Ten Ren Tea Time's Mango/Strawberry Teaser gets me every time. I also love to play at Disneyland and California Adventure. ^_^
TP: Must be a good salad... What does a typical day look like for you? Where do you like to go for some time alone?
NR: It is! Hehe. I don't really have a "typical" day. My usual routine is to run errands in the morning, take care of family stuff, gym, tan, laundry (kidding!) and then I like to just enjoy my alone time when I can.
TP: Can you handle a stick?
NR: Of course! It doesn't phase me. ^_^
TP: Does size matter for you? You know we're talking about car engines of course. Haha.
NR: Oh yes! I only do BIG. LSX baby! ^_^
TP: Haha. Of course. So if we looked through your cell phone, what kinds of juicy things would we find on there?
NR: Not much I'm afraid, my phone stays strictly business.
TP: What item of clothing or accessory makes you feel the sexiest?
NR: Heels. When I wear them I feel taller, sexier, and more confident.
TP: What do you look for in a guy? What would he have to do to get your attention and to keep you interested?
NR: Honestly, the first thing that I look for in a guy is his smile and his eyes. If he can't make eye contact and smile at me then it's a huge turn-off. He also has to have a sense of humor and swag. Hehe. ^_^
TP: How do you feel about pick-up lines? What was the best line that was used on you? Did it work?
NR: Pick up lines might work when delivered correctly to other girls, but never on me! The best line I've heard was "damn, I know milk does a body good, just how much did you drink?"
TP: What is the weirdest thing that has ever happened to you on a date? How did the rest of the night go?
NR: One night I went out to a friend's house party and my date's ex girlfriend shows up. Long story short, he got drunk and barfed on my shoes in the rain. So I took him home and helped him into his house where he then barfed again. I waited until he fell asleep before I left...never again will I babysit someone like that. Not the greatest night for me. Haha.
TP: Haha. So what gets you in the mood? What are some of your turn-ons?
NR: When am I not in the mood? Haha. ^_^ Turn-ons are fresh kissable breath, a cute smile, swag, and a great sense of humor to back all of it up.
TP: Got it. Haha. So on a scale from 1 to 10, how wild are you in the bedroom?
NR: I'm definitely a lady in the streets but a freak in the sheets. 11? ^_^
TP: Wow. Right on. Tell us, what do you wear to bed?
NR: Hehe. Guess!
TP: Hello Kitty feety pajamas? So what's your favorite position in the bedroom?
NR: Hahaha. YES! ^_^ I firmly believe in the notion that "a position a day keeps the doctor away."
TP: Haha. Tell us, what is something no one else knows about you that you are willing to let us in on first? And your answer above doesn't count. It has to be something else.
NR: I"m so flexible that I can put my legs far past my head. ^_^
TP: Wow. Were you popular in high school? If so, why do you think that was?
NR: Not at all. I was a big nerd. In fact, I was voted shyest in my class because I didn't talk much.
TP: Aww. If you could have one superpower, what would it be and why?
NR: To be able to read people's minds. Oh, and I want to be able to be in multiple places at once! Can I have both? Hehe. ^_^
TP: Sounds good to us! Do your friends have any funny nicknames for you? If so, tell us about them and the stories behind them.
NR: Haha. I actually have a few nicknames. Kiku Mochi and Kikumon like the soy sauce "Kikkomon" ...I think they all came about when I used to attend car meets with friends.
TP: Aww. Haha. So do you use Twitter? Facebook? Myspace? What do you think about social networking sites and how they have affected models these days?
NR: Twitter, no. Facebook and Model Mayhem, yes. I think these particular social networking sites have provided me with many great opportunities to grow when it comes to my modeling. They've also helped open many doors for people to connect with me.
TP: Right on. What are five things you never leave the house without?
NR: My purse has it all! Car keys. Extra clothes. Cell phone. Makeup bag.
TP: Do you like to travel? Where have you been that you absolutely loved? Where would you like to go someday?
NR: I LOVE to travel! I wish I was able to travel with you guys more often. So far I have really enjoyed visiting and working in Atlanta, Seattle, and Daytona Beach. The people I meet are always really nice and fun to be around. I have never been out of the country yet but I would really like to visit Italy, and Japan.
TP: Japan is definitely possible since we work with several companies out there. Maybe we'll take you with us to Auto Salon next year. Tell us, where can your fans find you online?
TP: Where can your fans expect to find you with TunerPlayground next?
NR: You can find me at all of the Formula DRIFT events with Hankook Tire and of course I'll be at all of the major events this year with TunerPlayground, so catch me at SpoCom, Motion, and more! ^_^
TP: Sounds good. It's time that we wrap up. Any last words?
NR: I want to thank God, my family, my boo, my friends and my fans. Without their support and love I wouldn't be where I am today. Thank you to TunerPlayground for featuring me and for opening so many new doors and for providing me with such amazing opportunities. Shout outs to Hankook Tire, LA COLORS, AutoConcept Elite, The Hamburgs, The Licups, Jordan Innovations, Goose McGee Photography, Ray Diaz at The Nismo Shop, Garage BOSO, Redline Time Attack, 3T Motorsports, and so many others. XOXO ^_^
