Print and runway model. Film actress. Commercial actress. Theater actress. Miss Sacramento. TunerPlayground March 2011 Feature. All of these titles may describe the lovely Shelby Irey, but they certainly don't define her. For instance, you'd have to really get to know her to find out just how funny and kind she is. Or how surprisingly naughty she can be at times. But then again, you don't need to go through all of the trouble of meeting her yourself when you can simply sit back and read her very intimate interview right here. Oh and we're sure that we don't need to remind you about her photos too. Enjoy.

TP: So we have to ask, how did you get into modeling? Were you discovered?

SI: I was discovered some time ago... I was six months old in a stroller, my mother was pushing me and some random guy came up to us and said I was cute! RED FLAG for her, especially since she is a cop! But then later that week she decided to call and well, I was put in a print ad soon after, which was only the beginning! I continued in print & expanded to commercials, runway, film, soap operas and beauty pageants! I'm now Miss Sacramento International 2011 and I'm honored to be the March 2011 featured model for TunerPlayground! ^_^

TP: How do you feel about signing exclusively with us? What were some of the important factors that led to your decision?

SI: Before I even consider signing with anyone, I first make sure that it will benefit both myself and the company that I sign with. Being a TunerPlayground model will allow me to receive terrific exposure. I also hope to bring my Nissan 300ZX twin turbo out to some events this year! Look for me as the sexy yet well spoken promotional model working towards growing the TunerPlayground brand. Plus the people that I get to work with are super awesome!

TP: Aww thank you. So do you consider yourself beautiful? What do you think is your greatest asset? What makes you unique?

SI: Beauty comes from within, and seeing as how I'm a kind person that works with my community, I believe that part of myself definitely shines through. As for how sexy I am and my assets...I love my long flexible legs, and who says a white girl can't have a booty?! ^_^ Comment and let me know what your favorite photo of mine is by the way! Aside from looks...it's hard to find a model who has graduated college & works on her own car...I mean I can't let just anybody get under my hood right? Hehe. ^_^

TP: Haha. Very true. What was the first major event that you modeled at? What made it most memorable to you?

SI: Ralph Lauren Runway Show when I was 11. I remember walking the runway and seeing everyone drinking wine, so when I finished I went up to my dad and said "Daddy I hope you weren't drinking like everybody else, we still have to drive home!" Cute right? ^_^ Recently I did a major virtual lingerie shoot for the phone app market. Hopefully I'll be a virtual model on your phone soon!

TP: So who is your favorite model or celebrity of all time? What would your fantasy photoshoot with her consist of?

SI: Stacey McMahon HANDS DOWN! Not only is she a sexy and toned model, but she is also a personal trainer too! Our fantasy photoshoot would involve the both of us getting very dirty... ^_^

TP: Oh my...so have you ever used your looks to take advantage of someone? Was it one of our staff? You can tell us. Haha.

SI: What? Me? Never! ^_^

TP: Haha. Sure. So tell us, what are your hobbies? Any hidden talents you'd like to share with the world?

SI: I like racing my 300ZX TT, watching sports, exotic gogo dancing, cooking, xbox live, reading in the nude (clothes inhibit a person), and riding...horses! ^_^

TP: Haha wow. We've decided that we need to be reading buddies together. So what is your astrological sign? Do you believe in horoscopes?

SI: I'm a Libra. It defines me. I read horoscopes daily!

TP: Do you have any weird habits that no one else knows about?

SI: When I've almost finished eating a hamburger I like to take it apart and eat the meat...I love meat! Hehe. ^_^

TP: ROFL. You're making it really easy for us to make fun of you. So what does a typical day look like for you? Where do you like to go for some time alone?

SI: What's so good about the bird getting the worm in the morning? I LOVE sleeping in, working hard while personal training, walking my pit-bull and chihuahua, and cooking a delicious meal at the end of each day. Modeling, gaming, and any evening adventures may follow as well!

TP: Favorite place to eat? Drink? Play?

SI: I love sushi! Pepper Fin has recently become my top pick thanks to the NorCal Magazine Team! I love to drink & play anywhere exotic or any place that has a little dirty dancing. ^_^

TP: Can you drive a stick?

SI: I ONLY drive stick. Hehe.

TP: So does does size matter for you? You know we're talking about car engines of course. Haha.

SI: I like longevity and power. So sexy! I'm referring to engines as well. ^_^

TP: Haha. Right...so if we looked through your cell phone, what kinds of juicy things would we find on there?

SI: Now if I told you about all the pics & videos that I have in my phone it wouldn't be my little secret anymore would it? I'm an angel after all...hehe.

TP: Sure. We believe you. So what item of clothing or accessory makes you feel the sexiest?

SI: Who says clothing has to make you feel sexy?! Lotion counts as an accessory too! I love being soft & sultry...

TP: Haha. Goodness. So what do you look for in a guy? What would he have to do to get your attention and to keep you interested?

SI: I'm simple. Ethical, confident, and not afraid to challenge me on or off the streets. ^_^ Oh and he has to be able to hold a conversation, both intelligent and freaky! Hehe.

TP: How do you feel about pick-up lines? What was the best line that was used on you? Did it work?

SI: Are you a speeding ticket? Because you've got FINE FINE FINE written all over you! It definitely made me laugh, so it worked! I think if a man is willing to try, why not give him a chance?

TP: We'll be sure to have some good ones for you next time. So what is the weirdest thing that has ever happened to you on a date? How did the rest of the night go?

SI: I went on a date with a handsome older man only to find out that the young guy he introduced me to at the restaurant was his son, who happened to be my age! The rest of the night was AWKWARD... It wouldn't have been though if I was told ahead of time! There's nothing wrong with dating an older man after all. ^_^

TP: Hahaha. Right on. So what gets you in the mood? What are some of your turn-ons?

SI: I love being massaged and giving them too. A sexy, strong back and muscular shoulders are the best things a man can have...any extra weight elsewhere is fine with me!

TP: On a scale from 1 to 10, how wild are you in the bedroom?

SI: It only goes up to 10? Boo. No fair. ^_^

TP: What do you wear to bed?

SI: Cute booty shorts and nothing else.

TP: So tell us, what's your favorite position in the bedroom?

SI: I like it SIDEWAYS. Drifting is sexy, I was inspired. Hehehe. ^_^

TP: Wow. You're the first for that one! Nice. So what is something no one else knows about you that you are willing to let us in on first? And your answer above doesn't count. It has to be something else!

SI: I kissed a girl once and I really liked it (you know who you are)! Hehe. Any ladies want something sweet? ^_^

TP: LOL. Oh boy. So were you popular in high school? If so, why do you think that was?

SI: Does being the A.V.I.D. Class President, club leader, & attendee of all the crazy dances count as popular? Not to say that there weren't any haters though...however they do make you famous! I was nice and tried to get everybody to take part in all the school events. I made a lot of friends because I didn't judge anyone, instead I appreciated why every person was unique...I still do.

TP: If you could have one superpower, what would it be and why?

SI: Super speed...oh wait, my car is already faster than yours! Hehe. Let's go with x-ray vision like Superman then...because I am Superwoman after all. ^_^

TP: Haha. Speaking of which, do your friends have any funny nicknames for you? If so, tell us about them and the stories behind each name.

SI: Hippo! Have you ever seen the game Hungry Hungry Hippos? I'm always snacking on something! Thank goodness I'm a personal trainer, I stay fit!

TP: Do you use Twitter? Facebook? Myspace? What do you think about social networking sites and how they have affected models these days?

SI: I have all three! I think these websites offer a great way to network and expose yourself...in all the right ways of course. Hehe. I've been able to use them to help spread my campaign "Building Bridges" to ease racial and cultural tension in youth across California. These pages have also helped me to get your guys' attention! ^_^

TP: That's great to hear. So what are five things you never leave the house without?

SI: My Android phone. Vitamin Water. A miniature bottle of Cholula hot sauce. My Nike shoes. And a picture of my loved ones. <3

TP: Do you like to travel? Where have you been that you absolutely loved? Where would you like to go someday?

SI: I love Monterey and anywhere that the ocean is near. Somebody special took me to a beautiful seaside restaurant once and I absolutely loved it. My dream is to go on a canopy tour someday though!

SI: First of all, I want to thank GOD for creating me. I am blessed to be alive after a life threatening blood infection in 2007. The doctors told my parents to call the family because I wasn't supposed to survive. He saved me, & I believe He did so for a reason. To my biggest fans & the people that never stop believing in me: my mama, daddy and family. I wouldn't be here with out you. Thank you so much for supporting my love for the entertainment industry from a very young age. I wouldn't be where I am today with out your endless love & support along with the strong work ethic and integrity you instilled in me. A program I founded in 2007 to build relationships between people and their communities to ease racial & cultural & bring judgment to an end. Through focus groups, I help young adults & children realize instead of judging somebody for being different, we will value them for being unique. This campaign has brought down the number of bullies in districts across California. Let's continue to work together to send a message across the nation this year!
